Report on the current status and to do actions

INRIA and Mandriva

• work on the prototype
• new features added: Pastry 2.0 for the DHT, support for UPnP for the

NAT/firewall problem, key transfer between peers improved (used for peers entering/leaving the network and for mass publishing)

• ongoing work for deployment on Grid5000 (~100 peers for the

beginning), testing and measurements

• THE WORK IS ON TIME

Oslo

• work on the new Eclipse RCP GUI that communicates with the peer

(EDOS API) through web services

• code will be partially ready beginning of May, functionalities

almost realized

• May 25 deadline for their final report for the university, will

serve for deliverables

• to do: a report with remarks on the EDOS system (functionalities,

API, performances, etc)

• to do: explore callback services (now polling)

• THE WORK IS ON TIME

Torino

• code for signing KadoP messages finished but not tested
• problems in installation

• THE WORK IS LATE FOR THE SECURITY MODULE

• Actions to control risk
  • ONE WEEK to fix the installation problem; access to the CSP network

is given to Gabriel (INRIA) to help solve the problem

• • Deadline: Friday April 27
  • If the problem is not solved by then, Torino will send a person to

INRIA to work together on solving the problem

Tel Aviv

• new functionalities for IDiP clustering, described in a SIGMOD paper
• this is beyond what was planned for deliverable
• will not be included in the platform: it is quite complex and due to

lack of time, there is a risk of introducing problems

• THE INTEGRATION OF IDIP IS DONE AND TESTED

Geneva

• work with Radu and Oslo team to include other information from the

"general process model" in the EDOS/KadoP information system

TO DO FOR ALL: start work on deliverables (reports and demos)

• due date end of May for internal delivery
• validation+integration in June
• official deadline: end of June
