Flink stands for Formalized Linux Knowledge.

Our aim is to demonstrate the benefits that will result from formalizing knowledge about the Linux operating system. One way of describing the kind of knowledge which we think is worth formalizing is to think of what a Linux system administrator needs to know in order to be able to perform their job.
